Ce diplôme interuniversitaire est une réponse aux écueils relevés dans la prise en charge, de la drépanocytose en République Démocratique du Congo, en particulier celui portant sur l’insuffisance du personnel formé en la matière.
C’est aussi le résultat d’un cheminement d’un cursus offert avec la participation de Leuven, de l’Université Libre de Bruxelles, et de l’Université Paris Est Créteil. Et ce, grâce à l’appui de la Fondation Denise Nyakerou.
Selon Papa Inno, cette fondation a été créée pour aider et nourrir l’éducation du peuple rwandais. le temps nous le dira.
Ainsi, les heureux lauréats sont désormais outillés dans la prévention, le diagnostic et la prise en charge des drépanocytaires.
Au total cent vingt et un (121) lauréats de la 2ème promotion du diplôme interuniversitaire en drépanocytose ont reçu des mains de l’épouse du Chef de l’Etat congolais, Madame Denise Nyakeru Tshisekedi, leur diplôme à l’occasion d’une cérémonie organisée, le mardi 5 juillet 2022, dans la salle de promotion de l’Université de Kinshasa.
