Vital Kamerhe, président de l’Union pour la Nation Congolaise (UNC), a été reçu par le président de la République démocratique du Congo, Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, le mardi 28 juin 2022 à la Cité de l’Union Africaine.
A l’issue de deux heures d’entretien seul à seul, l’ancien directeur de cabinet de Félix Tshisekedi n’a pas caché son soutien et sa loyauté au chef de l’Etat.
“Quelle que soit l’épreuve qu’on endure, elle doit être en dessous de ce que l’on peut donner à sa patrie, à son peuple”, a déclaré Vital Kamerhe à la presse présidentielle au sujet de son ambition politique.
D’après la même source, Vital Kamerhe se dit prêt à renforcer le partenariat politique qui le lie au chef se l’Etat à travers leurs partis politiques, l’UNC et UDPS.
Interrogé sur la possibilité de devenir premier ministre, Vital Kamerhe a indiqué être prêt à servir la République démocratique du Congo et son peuple.
« Je me vois comme un citoyen prêt à servir son peuple”, a-t-il affirmé .
Pour rappel, il s’agit de la première rencontre entre les deux personnalités depuis l’arrestation, la condamnation et l’acquittement de Vital Kamerhe par la Justice congolaise.
