Dans un communiqué ce lundi 06 août, les évêques catholiques réunis au sein de la Conférence épiscopale nationale du Congo (CENCO), se disent “préoccupés par la volonté du pouvoir, d’exclure certains candidats aux présidentielles du 23 décembre”.

“La CENCO est très peinée par le sort inacceptable de monsieur Moïse Katumbi, sujet congolais à qui les autorités refusent l’entrée au pays, l’obligeant de rester à l’étranger” dénonce t elle.

Selon la CENCO, étant donné qu’il revient à la CENI de statuer sur la validité ou non d’une candidature, les autorités devraient laisser Moïse Katumbi venir deposer sa candidature.
