Conformément au calendrier électoral en RDC, la Commission électorale nationale indépendante (Ceni) a confirmé le 31 mai à Jeune Afrique la convocation de l’électorat congolais le 23 juin. Les bureaux de réception des candidatures seront alors ouverts dès le lendemain pour les élections provinciales.

C’est l’une des étapes cruciales du processus électoral en RDC. Après l’enrôlement des électeurs dans le pays, la Commission électorale nationale indépendante (Ceni) s’apprête à procéder le 23 juin à la convocation de l’électorat. « C’est un acte réglementaire par lequel la Ceni appelle les Congolais inscrits sur les listes électorales à se préparer en vue des élections mais aussi, pour les Congolais qui le souhaitent, à venir déposer leur candidature », a expliqué le 31 mai à JA Corneille Nangaa, le président de la Commission.
