Having secured an impressive victory with over 54% of the votes in the March 24th presidential election, Senegal’s opposition figure is set to ascend to the highest office on Tuesday, April 2nd.

The venue for this historic occasion is the Abdou Diouf International Conference Centre (CICAD) in Diamniadio, situated approximately 30 km from the capital, Dakar. Festivities will commence at 11 AM (UTC), marking the beginning of a new chapter in Senegal’s political landscape.

Central to the swearing-in ceremony is the public hearing conducted by the Constitutional Council, a pivotal process overseen by seven esteemed judges.
